I stayed at a friend's house for the holidays and she got this great picture of me. I was really well behaved. Played with her dogs and her son. We had lots of fun.

The weather has been so cold lately that my mom made me put on two coats. One is a nice fleecy liner that I get lots of compliments on and the other is like a windbreaker. I walked a little faster than usual on this walk cause it was cold.

When we got home I had a nice dinner and then I just wanted to lie back and get cuddles from my peeps. There is nothing I love more than sitting beside my foster mom getting pats and cuddles. I get along well with my foster Greyhound and Cavachon, and pretty much any dogs that I meet, but sometimes think it would be pretty cool to be an only dog who would get all the attention. I would love to have a family of my own. I am very loyal. I will follow you around he house and park myself wherever you are.

It is so relaxing when I'm getting cuddles that I sometimes just fall into a really deep sleep. This was the end of a perfect day. We had 2 good walks, yummy food, a relax in front of the fire and then just hung out and watched a movie. Life is good.

What a Beauty!

My foster Mom loves when I look her straight in the eyes. I just want to do whatever she tells me to do. I am a fun loving, attentive gal who just wants to be loved. I also like to give kisses.

My very favorite thing to do is to go for nice long walks. Today was extra special, because we went for a super long walk and then my foster Mom let me and my foster sister go in the creek to cool off. It felt so good!

My sister Chloe, is pretty cool and just kind of leads the way. She and I loved frolicking in the water for a bit. It was kinda refreshing!

Ah, feel so much better!

I'm settling into my new foster home quite nicely. I've been here for close to a month now. I have a sister (fellow Greyhound) and a brother (Cavachon). I was a little nervous when I first got here. So much change to deal with. However, now that I've settled in and know the routine, I am quite liking life.

My very favorite part of the day is going for walks. I walk well on a leash. My ears prick up and I stand at attention when I see a squirrel, but I never pull on the lead. You'd never know it from the pictures my foster mom posts, but I'm really a very active dog. However, once I get home from my walks, I really just enjoy lying around.

I'm four years old. I have wonderful silver coloring on my snout that gives me a more mature look. My foster mom says that it makes me look very dignified. She also tells me what a beauty I am, all the time :)

My foster sister and I love to go out in the backyard and chase squirrels. We're both really fast, but haven't managed to catch one yet. When I'm not catching squirrels, I love to play fetch. I fetch balls, stuffies, just about anything. I'm pretty good about bringing them back and just dropping them.

Squirrel. Did someone say squirrel? Lemme at em...

At the end of the day, what I really want is a family of my own that will make me a member of their family, take me on walks, play games, and just give me ear scritches and belly rubs every once in a while. Till me next post....xo Kiara

Playful and Loving!

I made up a game. If I can bring the toy all the way back to my kennel I get to keep it. Ready, go!

I love to lean and hug on my walkers to let them know how much I appreciate their attention and love!
